I have visited their Kendall location a very long time ago and I had loved their wings. Yesterday was the Heat game (GO HEAT!) so I decided to give this spot another try and refresh my memory about those wings. When we walked in it was pretty empty, maybe about 6 other tables occupied. But, as soon as the game started, this place definitely got packed very quickly! It took some time for a server to approach our table and bring us our waters, but as soon as our wings arrived, we had forgotten all about the little wait! Me and my friend had an order of French fries and 16 wings to share. They let you do the whole half and half thing with the wings, which was great! We ordered the wings half "special grilled" and half " buffalo style". When our order was brought out you could smell the spiciness of the wings! I couldn't wait to dig in! The half order of fries was huge! Enough for possibly 3 people to share. The buffalo style wings were great- not overwhelmingly spicy but definitely has a tasty kick to it! The special grilled wings had a barbecued taste to them with a bit of sweetness... These were great as well, however, I preferred the buffalo wings. The only downside is that this place doesn't have their own blue cheese or ranch, they come in little packets. So you have to ask for how many blue cheeses you would like AND they charge you for each. That's fine though because I'm going to use them all up anyway. Our server was really nice and funny. We didn't speak much to her but on the few times we did, she made us laugh which was nice. I would come back again for another heat game. The buffalo wings are a must try!

I've been coming here since this place first opened. Great customer service, staff has barely changed since day 1. The special grilled wings are delicious. Cons: No liquor, and they charge you for every dressing except ketchup.

Good place to catch sporting events since there's TV's all over the place. The food is just okay, below average. Their jalapeno poppers are pretty good. They only serve beer and I think they may have one or two wines, but no open bar, which kind of sucks for a sports grill. This is usually the last place we'll go to if everything else is packed for a game or something.

Worst service ever! Apart from the wings and beer that were amazing. The servers were straight out rude. Not only did they double charge my bud and I but then they had the nerves to yell at us about our tip. They even closed the doors early on us when on the door clearly says they close at 1AM. The owner should hire new servers and train them correctly. Never going back again. If it wasn't for the poor service I would have came back.

Not the best place in town. .. A little dry, sad and the food not all that. The staff was great.

I came here for lunch and ordered a burger and a salad to replace the fries (wasn't in the mood for wings). They charged me an extra $2 to get a salad instead of fries which is fine, but the salad was awful. Just some lettuce, a few diced tomatoes, Parmesan cheese and croutons. The burger was good, nothing special but good. The service was below average, but hey it's Hialeah what do you really expect? I had to ask for a fork so I could eat my salad. I was with 5 other people and all of our food came out at different times. Overall sports grill is a solid place, but this one is probably the worst of them all.

This sports grill does not compare to the original one and it is going to give Sports Grill a bad name. The wings are smaller, greasier and on 1 occasion I ordered 16 wings , there where only 14 in the order and on another occasion I was given day old soggy waffle fries. Since these orders have been take out, I was not going to take my lunch hour to return them although I should. Since t my co-workers went over there and I didn't want to make them feel bad I ate at the original sports grill for 20 years, and now I have been going to the one in NMB but not sure I would come to the one in Miami Lakes again

Always the best food in town, but I keep it simple and grilled. Special Grilled! The selection will keep you coming back and the Heat games keep the place packed

Surprised at the negative reviews. This place has my favorite wings and always delivers fantastic sports bar food. Beer selection is weak so only reason I give them four stars.

hands down best sports bar in South Florida. TV'S everywhere, cold beer, the BEST food for a sports bar and the servers are super nice. Dale wings FTMFW!

Best wings in Miami?! Umm I don't think so! Got some take out last night and was sooo disappointed. My husband does better wings in our BBQ! They were tiny, dry, meatless and chewy.. the sweet potato fries were soggy and the caesar salad dressing came in a Ken's container. This place has only been open for a few weeks in out neck of the woods, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt with 1 star.. They need to shape up otherwise I don't see this small joint open for very long!

The food at this place is pretty good and they have a good menu but the thing that keeps me away is the service. The servers are all young (which I have nothing against that because I'm young too) but they apparently didn't have a good training on serving guests. I've gone once when it was busy and twice when it was empty (the first time was a couple weeks after this placed opened and the second time was a few days ago for lunch) and the service was bad all 3 times. What I don't understand is how the place was completely empty but the server took forever with everything. The only good thing was that my food came out super hot a little to hot actually. My co-workers have ordered to go from there and they charge you for taking things to go, I've never heard of that. You also get your money's worth when you order a soda because those cups are huge compared to other restaurants. One more thing I'm not a fan of is that everything is served on plastic, but I guess it's more sanitary.

All our food came at room temperature-Served in styrofoam. Makes sense for wings but spinach artichoke dip?! Wings were a disappointment. Does not compare to other locations-needs work!

Wings were great! That's where it ends... Service was poor and the house salad was dreadful. Looking for just wings and a cold beer while watching the game? Not a bad place, but I wouldn't venture far from there. 2 stars because at least the wings were unique and sauces were good.

horrible experience what server serves a warm beer. to the guys in the kitchen dont serve brown lettuce that means is time to throw it out come on thats common sense. and they forgot half of our order and ask me is i still wanted half an hour after we had our entrees waooo

worst service! Waited for over an hour for our food. Then the food came and it was terrible. Never going back there again! Oh and our "wonderful" waitress rolled her eyes when we asked her to split the bill. If I could rate it ZERO stars - I would! Terrible!

Because Miami Lakes is void of actual sports bars (outside of the sometimes packed/sometimes not Ale House or cesspool Flannigans), this is a great spot to watch a game. Lack of TVs and crowds are not going to be issues you'll ever have at this place. However, the food and service itself is not so great. Have had multiple issue with quality of the food I order and most recently, waited 40 mins. on a waitress who was too busy flirting with a co-worker behind the bar. This is a common occurrence. Unless you sit at the bar, you aren't going to be served with any sort of promptness. Go for a game, go for a drink -- the $1 beer specials they run are pretty awesome, -- but don't come here when you're hungry. You'll leave unsatisfied.

The food here is pretty good is good as is the case with most Sports Grills. Just don't like the disposable utensils and up-charge for sauces like ranch. Should have given an add l star for free pitcher of beer on Tuesday night for county employees but didn't.

As a Miami Lakes resident my entire life, I was finally glad to find a good wing place to go to besides good old flannigans. The wings here are great. I love the specialty ones. They are grilled and have a sweet/spicy sauce on top. I tried the ribs and they were good as well. They have a pretty good beer selection for being a sports bar, with some craft beers available. The inside is surprisingly big and there is always seating available. There are great big screen TVs to watch football on Sundays and the service is pretty good. I go theres 3-4 times a month.

listen up everyone special grilled wings are a thing of the past, try garlic with bbq sauce omg amazing!!!!!! you'll never go back grilled trust me. service here is amazing and on point. to all the haters on here complaining because its always empty blah blah blah go to flannis and wait 3 hours to sit dont get me wrong i love flannis but i love sports grill for that because it allows you to get away from the hustle of hialeah.

This place is awesome. I have been living in this are for about 20 years now and we had nothing like this. Tucked away in a corner in the shopping center is an amazing medium size bar/restaurant, and quite which I love. Its close to home and that is most important, no one wants to be drinking and driving so far! The wings are my all time favorite one of the few places that have Grilled Wings, you can add whatever sauce but I always get the original. The drinks are good price and the music is always up. I have only picked up to go but about 5 times and the employees are aways fast, at tentative and nice! Love this place!

What is this we have the best wings in Miami hype all about. Seriously there are much better places with better tasting wings than the newly opened Sports Grill in Miami Lakes. I myself have made better tasting wings on my own grill in my backyard. A huge disappointment, can't really see this place staying open in the near future if the food tastes this bad.

The chicken wings were pretty good, but the service was horrible. Our order took about 45 minutes to get to us. The waitress blamed it on the new cook and told us that all the orders had gone in at the same time and that was the reason for the delay. She also rolled her eyes when we asked her to split the bill. She barely did anything besides take our orders. I won't be returning here. Our group should have gone to the nearby KFC instead of this place - at one point we were ready to walk out.

Yes, the wings are delicious. Sports Grill has always been at the top of the chicken wing pedestal for me and my family. Different location though......Sunset. So we went tonight to the Miami Lakes location and the service was terrible. We almost got up and left without paying. We only saw the waitress once in the hour that we there. Had to get up from our table to ask for refills. They need better management & more staff specially on a game night. Hope Sunset's Sports Grill never breaks my heart!

This place is only good for Take out and sitting on the bar. I normally just do take out and the time I have gone I just sat at the bar. This time I decided to go with my family and sit down. When I walked in nobody greeted us. The place was not busy and saw 4 to 5 employees walking around. The waitress walked by us and did not even speak to us. It was like we were not there. We then decided to sit down at a booth. We just sat there watching the employees talk and give us no service. After 10 minutes we walked out and went to outback were we get consistently good service. I think the wings are good . Just be sure you do take out or sit at the bar. Bottom line this place needs a manager in charge and an operational plan.

It's just a nice sports bar to get a cold beer and wings. It's usually low key even on important game nights. The special grill wings, chicken wrap, and the fried cheesecake are my favorite food.

In Hialeah / Miami lakes area there aren't a lot of bars/restaurants where you can go watch a big game and actually sit without it being crowded. This is why I love sports grill. While the ale house, Flanigans and Hooters are packed with long lines, during a Miami Heat game you can come here, get a table pretty much immediately and enjoy watching the game comfortably. They have TVs all around and a great happy hour mon - Thursday from 10 to close where beers are $1. I definitely enjoy their wings, buffalo style is perfect since it's not overwhelmingly hot nor flavorless.. If you're looking for SPICE try the Miami heats style, you'll definitely feel the burn then.. If your tolerance for spice is not that high pleas avoid this, or it will be a painful experience. Their waffle fries are the BOMB, I totally love them and their Philly cheesesteak as well. This isn't your fancy place, utensils are plastic and good comes in a basket. But it's great, service has always been cool and the prices are very reasonable as well. From time to time there is always a groupon for them, I suggest getting it since it's a pretty sweet deal.

The chicken wings are great beer wonderful, but I just ate here before the dinner and they didn't honor my group on spoke to the manager and said that he could not do any thing for us. Yes the manger has no access to the way the computer works. We came at 4:30 pm and left at 5:40 pm. Good food but honoring your Group on better luck next time. The best Sports grill is at Bird Road and 114 ave in Miami.

So you're in Miami and looking for a spot for wings outside the usual chains. You could do worse than Sports Grill. I have never really tried much outside of the wings so ill have to focus on that. They're specialty is their grilled wings... they are decent size and have that delicious grilled flavor that is very unique. I am a big fan of the Miami Heat flavor. Not too spicy but it has some kick to it. They have some other good sauces like teriyaki and BBQ, but their homemade Miami Heat sauce is the way to go. Their food I have found is a bit pricey for the quality, and eating there was nothing special. So this place has essentially become a wings only place for me, but thats what I love, hence the 4 stars. If i went here for anything other than the wings the star rating would drop one or two points. Its a good changeup from my regular wingstop.

I have no idea what's happened to this sports grill, the food and service use to be great. The last few times we've gone, it has been terrible. Cold wings, incorrect food and take out orders. I even wrote to them on their website and no response. It's a shame, we would be there every week and now, well, I don't even want to think about going back.

I am usually a yelper that writes strictly about the food but i honestly had to say something bout this place. My husband and i were super excited when we found out a sports grill opened up right by our house. Wings and beer and service r great but honestly the crowd sucks. We r Miami lakes residents and literally live walking distance from here and not for nothing but this place is a total disappointment . Maybe it's the day we went but it was full of kids running around, jumping on all the booths, and chanting and nobody was saying anything to control the situation. They were even throwing coasters. I was here with my 5 year old son and husband and my son was putting his fingers in his ears of how rowdy and loud these kids were. People were hanging out outside with beer they had bought in the winn dixie next door. This particular area of miami lakes is calm and peaceful and this rowdiness is obviously not from people around here. I rather go to shulas to watch a game and be around a better crowd than the people that hang In this sports grill. We have been in other sports grills like the one in sunset and its nothing like this one. We will try this place another weekend to see if the atmosphere is different and I'll write a follow up review but for now it seems like Trash central.

The chicken wings were AWESOME!! The beer was cold and the place was comfortable for a Saturday nite watching the game on TV, Although we ordered wings as an appetizer and sandwiches for dinner, the wings were a HIT! Don't go by the negative reviews. These wings are the best in the Lakes area!!! I didn't give 5 stars because our waitress took our card before the bill and didnt give us an itemized bill before she ran the card.

Gave this place two tries. First time there was hardly anyone there. Beer was warm, the buffalo wings were good, but the garlic wings had a strange sour taste. Ordered a chicken sandwich too that didn't arrive until well after we were done with the wings. Manager was unsympathetic. Gave it a second chance ordered take out wings. 25 buffalo 25 roasted $50 worth of wings. The buffalo was ice cold like they weren't even heated. The roasted were so roasted there was barely meat left on the bones. We were so excited to have a new place to go to. So unbelievably disappointed!
